Our house wines come highly recommended by our customers and include:-

White Wines

1. Elephant Walk Chenin Blanc South Africa £12.00 Lovely fruit salad flavours and floral aromas with a long clean finish.
2. Sierra Grande Sauvignon Blanc Chile £12.50 Light elegant style with citrus and green fruits, a touch of leesy character, gentle acidity and crisp.
3. Woolloomooloo Chenin/Verdehlo/Chardonnay Australia £13.00  Aromas of tropical fruit with hints of melon, passion fruit and limes
4. San Vigilio Pinot Grigio  Italy  £13.50  A lovely elegant wine with a bouquet of toasted almonds with balanced acidity and crisp finish.
5. Lincoln Heritage Sauvignon Blanc  New Zealand  £17.00  Gooseberries and passion fruit leap from the glass. The palate is round and vibrant.

Ripe Blackberry and plum aromas on the nose are complemented by
hints of spice and black pepper. The palate is succulent soft and fruity.
Red Wines

1. Poco Mas Merlot  Chile  £12.50  Intense colour with vivid bramble aromas and soft ripe fruit. Smooth and easy to drink.
2. Waterstone Bridge Reserve Shiraz Australia  £13.75  Deep garnet in colour with blueberry, cherry and spicy notes, and hints of pepper and toasty oak.
3. False Bay Pinotage  South Africa  £14.00  A wine with depth, structure and complexity. Lovely spicy tangy black fruits and liquorice on the palate.
4. Beau Rivage Claret France  £14.25  Blended for early drinking, this is an irresistible red wine with aromas and flavours of bramble and black cherry
5. Vega Del Rayo Selecionada  Spain  £16.75  A delicious modern Rioja with a deep colour and ripe plum cherry fruit aromas. Richly flavoured and spicy dimension from 6 months in oak.

Rose Wines

1. Lazy Lizard Pink Shiraz, VDPd’Oc France  £11.00  This rose captures the spice of the Syrah grape perfectly, but with pure raspberry and strawberry fruit characters and a fruity refreshing finish.

Sparkling Wine

1. Ackerman < Pierre Legendre > Sparkling Chardonnay NV France £16.00 Soft and fresh with a touch of creamy fruit and a round dry-ish finish. Great as an aperitif.

House Wines

1. The Lizard Chardonnay, VDPd’Oc  France  £11.50  A generous, full and rich unoaked Chardonnay with ripe tropical fruit flavours.
2. The Lizard Shiraz, VDPd’Oc France  £11.50  A vivid and deeply concentrated Syrah – spicy and chunky with ripe blackcurrant flavours.
